We help families afford child care tuition
As a parent, you understand the importance of consistent, nurturing, and continuous child care for your child.
You also know how challenging it can be to ensure this care during times of crisis or financial difficulty, when uncertainty and instability are at their peak. Our BOOST Scholarships were created to support families in accessing child care when you need it most.
When available, ECC assistance is very limited and eligibility may vary by county, city, zip code or other factors. Applying for ECC assistance does not guarantee you will be approved. Once you apply, you will be placed on our waiting list. Your application will remain active for three months, at which point it will expire. If parents experience another emergency, they must re-apply at that time. Families are only eligible to receive ECC once during a calendar year.
Thanks to several partnerships and private funding, we are able to support a limited number of families for specific communities in Georgia through the ECC program. Funding is provided in part by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Department of Community Development CSP Program.
BOOST Scholarship programs
BOOST Emergency Child Care assistance program
Quality Care for Children empowers Georgia’s families to find and access high-quality early learning and care experiences and supports the critical work of child care providers that ensures our youngest and most vulnerable children have the best start to reach their full potential.
Eligibility criteria
We’ll work with you to understand your family’s unique child care needs, to locate appropriate child care providers, and to negotiate fees with the provider. Through the ECC program, child care providers are paid directly. We continue to monitor the child care placement to ensure that necessary services are being provided and that connections are being made with additional resources, as needed.
