Win a $50 Visa Gift Card and Share Your COVID Child Care Story

Parents and guardians, we know that the last few months have been challenging and stressful on so many levels. QCC and other organizations throughout Georgia are ceaselessly working to assist our state’s families with basic necessities, including accessible child care.

One of our partners, GEEARS: Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students, continues to advocate during this time for greater federal, state, and philanthropic support for early childhood education and health.

The nonprofit’s top priority continues to be securing investments and expanding support for Georgia’s youngest children and their families. To do that most effectively, they need to hear directly from parents and caregivers to learn more about your experiences during the COVID-19 crisis.

GEEARS has a survey about the experiences parents and caregivers of a child 5 years of age or younger have had in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the end of the survey, respondents will have an opportunity to enter into a lottery for a chance to win 1 of 10 $50 Visa gift cards.

Please help GEEARS and others understand what you are experiencing by participating in the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NTPHQBY.

GEEARS is also asking for you to help by sharing your personal story so that they can be used as examples to inform change makers and stakeholders of what you are going through and to strengthen their advocacy efforts throughout Georgia. These stories will go directly to those key decisionmakers as GEEARS fights to maintain vital funding for our child care programs, Georgia’s Pre-K, and Head Start.

Tell your story here: http://www.geears.org/sharemystory

Thank you for participating and sharing your experience during these troubling times.
