Class Description: Presented by the Humane Society of the United States in partnership with Quality Care for Children, will provide a brief overview of the culinary trends as well as the health and environmental benefits leading to increase plant-based options. This training will explore alternate protein options available for early care and education providers to meet the CACFP meal patterns for children. Participants will prepare a variety of delicious recipes featuring plant-based proteins, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
