Strengthening Business Module 4: Recruiting and Retaining Staff for Center-Based Childcare Providers

Class Description: This training supports childcare administrators in their efforts to strengthen systems of staff recruitment and improve their ability to retain quality staff. Topics: developing effective job descriptions, conducting effective interviews and establishing hiring processes, creating an orientation for new employees, and providing ongoing feedback and performance management. Important Information: Registration ends on the GaPDS website 48 hours before the class start time. Supervising children during training is Not allowed in Georgia.

This training is delivered in an online format and full participation is required to receive credit for the class.

Once registered, participants will receive an email 24-48 hours before the training with the required handouts and Zoom login information.

Participants are responsible for printing and bringing the required handouts to class.

Participants who are more than 15 minutes late or leave more than 15 minutes early will NOT receive credit for the class.
