We ensure you have the resources to provide nourishing meals and snacks

Child care providers wear many hats, including one that encompasses the roles of menu planner, food purchaser, and head chef.

We can make your nutrition decisions simpler and more cost-effective while ensuring you are serving high-quality foods that support optimum brain development and physical growth of your young students.

Wellness grants

When grants are available, we work with early care and education programs across Georgia to provide funding, technical assistance, materials, and support to create a healthy environment. Past grants have supported enhanced nutrition and physical activity practices in child care programs through provider toolkits, local food deliveries, and garden creations.

Farm to Early Care and Education

Farm to Early Care and Education

Farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) connects children to locally grown food, hands-on nutrition and agriculture education, and gardening activities. Incorporating Farm to ECE activities into your child care program helps children develop healthy eating habits and a love for vegetables and fruits. As a leader in Georgia’s Farm to ECE movement, we love sharing our knowledge through various resources, events, and professional development opportunities so that more child care programs have the tools they need.
